This year’s fringe programme will feature a series of business forums and stage presentations addressing the latest developments in the pet market and offering practical industry insights. Sessions will explore topics including cross-industry business models, strategies to enhance sales performance, and approaches to nurturing the next generation of pet-related consumer communities. Additional highlights include the ‘Interpets Award’, presented to Ms Junko Yokota, President of the Japan Veterinary Nurses Association, in recognition of contributions to veterinary care. The award ceremony will be followed by a special lecture on the role of veterinary nurses as trusted supporters of both animals and their owners. The fair will also host the ‘Happy Grooming Contest’, where professional salon groomers will demonstrate cutting-edge techniques. Through these initiatives, the show aims to foster knowledge exchange while simultaneously supporting new business opportunities within Japan’s rapidly expanding pet market.
Interpets Tokyo is organised by the JAPAN PET FOOD ASSOCIATION, the Japan Pet Products Manufacturers Association, and Messe Frankfurt Japan Ltd. The show provides a meeting place for industry professionals, retailers, manufacturers and service providers. Alongside product showcases, the programme includes business networking opportunities and educational sessions designed to encourage collaboration across the expanding pet industry.
